Simple Past Tense, Present Perfect Tanse and Present Continous Tanse

                                                                   PAST TANSE 


Pengertian Simple Past TenseSimple past tense adalah tense yang berfungsi untuk menunjukkan pekerjaan yang terjadi pada masa lampau tanpa ingin menekankan bahwa pekerjaan tersebut telah (perfect) atau sedang (continuous) dikerjakan. Pemahaman tense ini hampir sama dengan Simple Present Tense, hanya waktunya saja yang berbeda. Jika simple present terjadi saat ini, simple past terjadi pada masa lalu.  

Nominal sentence:        
(+) S+BE II+ (WAS/WERE)        
(-) S+BE II+ NOT+ (WAS/WERE)        
(?) BE II+ S + (WAS/WERE)

Example:

Pengertian Present Perfect TensePresent Perfect tense adalah suatu tense yang digunakan untuk menggambarkan suatu aktivitas yang telah dilakukan pada saat ini. Dikatakan perfect karena pekerjaanya telah sempurna/selesai/paripurna pada saat ini (present). Oleh sebab itulah ia menggunakan kata kerja have yang berarti telah untuk menunjukkan bahwa pekerjaannya telah usai.

Verbal sentence:

(?) S+HAVE/HAS+S+V III?

Pengertian Present Continous TansePresent continuous Tense atau yang dikenal juga dengan present perfect progressive tense adalah tense yang digunakan untuk menggambarkan suatu pekerjaan yang telah dimulai di masa lalu tapi masih berlangsung hingga saat ini. Dikatakan perfect karena kejadiannya sudah dimulai, dikatakan continuous karena masih terjadi (sedang) hingga saat ini (present). 

Verbal sentence:
